Susan Piccione has been baking since she was a child. Both of her grandfathers were bakers in Hudson, Massachusetts and she claims it is just "in her blood". After graduating with honors from University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing, she returned to Cape Cod, the place where she vacationed as a child. Working with her husband in their prepress business on Cape Cod, she provided dessert catering part-time, specializing in a gourmet Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Truffle Cake. Now focusing her attention on Wicked Walnuts, Susan has a chance not only to be the baker, but to utilize her marketing skills.
Wicked Walnuts are gourmet baked, spiced cranberries and walnuts. They are packaged in Cape Cod themed gift bags. Susan and her new Cape Cod product will be featured in the cover story of an upcoming Cranberries magazine.
In addition to running Wicked Walnuts, Susan is a busy mother of two boys and is the calendar editor for A Plus Arts and Antiques magazine on Cape Cod. Wicked Walnuts is a member of the Massachusetts Specialty Food Association.
