With over
15 years of experience in various forms of photography,
Saba Alhadi has a keen interest in teaching people how to
see the world as a photographer. Her images of Boston have
been featured in the MetroWest Daily News, The Patriot Ledger,
Where magazine (June 2002), AAA Horizons (July 2002), and
Maine Sunday Telegram (July 21, 2002). Boston's Fox 25 News
recently broadcast a feature on Saba's work.
Formerly
a travel agent with American Express Travel, Saba Alhadi combined
her years of knowledge of tourism, photography, and teaching to
create a unique tour company in Boston. The idea for PhotoWalks
evolved from Sabas passionate interest in photography. As
she was walking through the Boston Common on a warm December day
in 2001, she wondered how many people overlook Bostons elegant
architecture and natural scenery. If people take the time to really
observe scenes, there are so many ways to frame Bostons
beautiful landmarks --creatively. Yet, many people take snapshots,
not photographs because they are unaware of how to capture well-composed
images. Now visitors may either capture Boston through Alhadi's
own photographs or join her in PhotoWalks where she will guide
them to take breathtaking and creative pictures of their own.
