Massachusetts Bay Trading Company is committed to leading the retail industry toward a sustainable future by protecting the environment in all facets of our business.
We fulfill this mission by a commitment to:
- Understand environmental issues and sharing information with our partners.
- Striving to buy, sell and use environmentally friendly products. Examples include our Wooden Bowls and Trays that are made only from fallen trees, never growing trees.
- Use locally-produced products whenever possible to minimize energy used in transportation and shipping.
- Use recycled products for packing and shipping, and encouraging consumers to return packing materials for further recycling.
- Minimize paper usage in our office systems through electronic invoicing, billing and payments.
