Culled from over 80 hours of footage, the film explores the extraordinary, long standing story of the Cape Cod Baseball League through the eyes of all of its participants, including over forty of the two hundred or so current major leaguers like Nomar Garciaparra, Jeff Bagwell, and Frank Thomas, who played in the Cape League. With compelling human-interest threads and beautiful photography, the best amateur baseball in the country is brought to life in "Touching the Game."
