Enjoy the scent of a New England fir tree forest in your home all year round. These lavender 3.5-ounce soy candles have two wicks and are presented in a jar with lid. The wicks creates a beautiful, mesmerizing flame.
Our Bedrock Tree Farm candles are individually handcrafted in New England using freshly harvested fir needles, dried fir needle powder and premium essential and fragrance oils to enhance the incredible aroma of a fresh sheared branch that is enjoyable year round. The needles floating on the top give an entertaining value to watching the candle burn.
The color used in these candles does not contain hazardous solvents or additives such as naphtha or naphthalene. Our fragrances are infused with natural essential oils and are phthalate free. The candles use all-natural soy wax made in the USA. The soy wax is clean burning, non-toxic, and made from non-petroleum, renewable resources. The soy wax has no genetically-modified markers. When you use our candles, you are supporting countless farmers across the country.
Fir needles are known for their disinfecting properties and for aiding respiratory problems like bronchitis. Analgesic properties make the needles useful in rubs for sore muscles or arthritis. Research has shown that the oils in fir needles have antimicrobial, anti-bacteria, anti-fungi, anti-septic (reduces possibility of infection), and anti-catarrhal (reduces inflammation of mucous membranes) properties. Here are some of the many benefits of our soy wax over traditional waxes, such as beeswax, paraffin wax and palm wax.
- Kosher certified. Proving our commitment to providing safe and healthy products.
- Does not stain. You don't have to worry about ruining clothing, furniture or other items. Easy clean up with soapy water. Some colored candles may stain.
- Burns cooler. Avoid wax burns knowing that soy wax burns at a cooler temperature.
- Safer for children. Soy wax is non-toxic and the cooler temperature makes it less worrisome around children.
Combining the needles and powder in the wax with essential and fragrance oils can create color and texture changes so that each candle is different and unique.
During curing, the needle powder tends to settle to the bottom. Do not burn wick down lower than 1/4 inch left in the bottom or the candle jar may break from too much heat. If your wicks are not consistently staying lit, carefully remove some of the wax so that more wick is exposed.
Under normal burning circumstances
you can expect 6-9 hours
of burn time per ounce of soy wax.
