This challenging 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle of Nobska Lighthouse on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, shows not only the lighthouse but the full historical marker describing its history. Nobska Light has stood in Woods Hole, Falmouth, Massachusetts since 1828.
The light was automated and the Coast Guard keepers removed in 1985. Nobska Light remains an active aid to navigation. Its fixed white light is equipped with a red sector to warn mariners from approaching the dangerous areas known as the Hedge Fence and L'Hommedieu Shoals. Nobska Light today serves as the home for the commander of U.S. Coast Guard Group Woods Hole. The Woods Hole Group serves the mainland and islands from Plymouth, Massachusetts to the Rhode Island/Connecticut border.
