This attractive birdhouse is made in New England from native Maine white birch and trimmed with striped maple, more commonly known in these parts as moose wood. The 1 1/4" hole is just right for wrens, chickadees, and other small to medium size birds. Each birdhouse includes a heavy ring for hanging and a removable bottom panel for easy cleaning between tenants. Simply remove two screws and slide out the bottom piece.
No birch trees are cut specifically for use in this house. The birch is a by-product of another item.
