This limited edition Beacon Hill Victorian ribbon bookmark is handmade and signed by the Women's Craft Cooperative in Boston, Massachusetts, a social enterprise at Rosie's Place, the first shelter for poor and homeless women in the United States. Each piece features a button, a metaphor for connecting.
The Beacon Hill Victorian, a ribbon bookmark story: Reminiscent of the architectural detail found on the Hill’s 19th-century townhouses, our featured button is embellished with an intricate Victorian lace appliqué overlay and punctuated with a slate glass topper. This is coupled with a brick grosgrain ribbon and lilac glass drop, reflecting the sun-stained antique purple windowpanes still in place in many a historic brownstone.
100% of the Women's Craft Cooperative profits benefit Rosie's Place.
