  The Peterman hand made cutting and serving boards are crafted from a variety of woods. The natural edges and unusual shapes make each board uniquely special.
 

Graceful, pleasing shapes and sturdiness of construction are some of the reasons why Nantucket Lightship Baskets are highly prized as collectibles. Our Lightship Basket makers use traditional methods and materials, with locally kiln-dried figured cherry, birdseye maple, tiger maple, black walnut and mahogany, and other woods.
